7000 D.C. pretende ser un corto relato futurista plasmado únicamente con ilustraciones que, bien siendo independientes unas de otras, guardan un mismo estilo y progresión cronológica de modo que en su correcto orden secuencial relatarán una historia.

"Planeta Ancestral" es, pues, la primera de dichas ilustraciones.
